426 students have received a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering since Dr. Sanjeev Ahuja completed his dissertation in 1985 on applying abductive reasoning to analyzing and classifying errors in discrete sequential processes. We are very proud of our Ph.D. graduates, who contributed to advancing knowledge in their fields as doctoral students and continue to contribute in their current positions in academia, industry, or government organizations.
