Dr. Penny Rheingans, Director of the Center for Women and Information Technology

The Department has 36 tenured and tenure-track faculty, 14 research faculty, five full-time lecturers and over 20 affiliate and part-time adjunct faculty. Current faculty research concentrations include artificial intelligence, graphics and visualization, computer networks and systems, database and knowledge management, algorithms and computation theory, communications and signal processing, microelectronics, photonics and optical communications.
