I am an Indian citizen and come from a Amravati (Maharashtra state) located in central India. I completed my schooling from Akola and high school from Amravati. Then I got admitted to Government College of Engineering Pune (COEP) for my undergraduate studies, which I completed in the year 1999. I joined NCST's Full time Postgraduate diploma in Software Technology at Bangalore. After completing my diploma, I was lucky to get in to NCST's research arm on the post of Staff Scientist. I was involved in research in the area of Data and Knowledge Engineering for a year.
   At present, I am pursuing Masters in Computer Science at University of Maryland Baltimore County with concentration in Bioinformatics. I am currently in the second year of the program and working towards my project in the area of Bioinformatics.
