Homework 4 has been posted. The assignment is due by 11:59 PM EDT on Tuesday, May 12th (the last day of class). As I mentioned in today's lecture, this assignment is optional — you do not have to complete it and it will not (directly) negatively affect you grade if you do not.

Part 1 of Project 2 has been released. This assignment is divided into two parts, the first of which is due by 11:59 PM EDT on April 12, 2020. You will be creating Linux kernel modules for this assignment to implement somewhat interesting (and fun) functionality into the kernel. As always, see Piazza for the link to create your repository for the project.

Due to a power outage in the CSEE data center, the course website was temporarily unavailable for most of the day on Monday. This has now been resolved (sort of).

My office hours for Tuesday, March 24 will be held on the CMSC 421 channel on the (unofficial) CSEE discord. There is a link on Piazza to join the discord. Plans for lecture will be sent out in the morning by email.

Due to the campus closure and general confusion related to COVID-19, the due date for Project 1 has been extended until Wednesday, March 18th at 11:59 PM EDT.

Further plans for lectures during the upcoming closure of campus after Spring Break will be announced in the upcoming days.
