UMBC CSEE Applications & Admissions

Dear Applicant:

Thank you for your interest in the graduate program in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Each of the two programs leads to both M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. These programs are strongly supported by the industrial companies in the Greater Baltimore-Washington area and various collaborative arrangements with governmental and private institutions, therefore, making state-of-the-art research facilities in the area available to UMBC faculty and students. The department's graduate curriculum covers both fundamental knowledge and advanced topics in the fields. Our faculty members are conducting a wide range of research projects.
