A complete application include the following documents:

• the Graduate School Application form;

• the Graduate School Residency form (if you wish to be considered for Maryland in-state tuition rate);

• the official transcript of all collegiate records;

• Statement of Academic Goals and Research Interest form;

• three letters of recommendation;

• official GRE General Test score report;

• official TOEFL score report (required of the international student);

• a financial statement indicating means of support; and

• Course Summary form (for Computer Science program applicants only).

Financial support in the form of teaching assistantships and research assistantships is sometimes available to qualified applicants. To apply for financial aid, complete the "Financial Assistance Information" section of the graduate application and the department's financial Assistance form.

Letters of recommendation, the Statement of Academic Goals and Research Interest form, and the two departmental forms (Course Summary and Financial Assistance) may be sent directly to the Graduate Admissions Committee, Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. All other materials must be mailed directly to the Graduate School.
