This document covers the preparation of your camera-ready copy for the
printed conference proceedings.
Please follow the formatting guidelines found in this document as closely as possible. If problems or questions arise, do not hesitate to contact the Proceedings Production Editor at the address below.
There are four major sections to this document:
The proceedings publication has its own Production Editor. If you have questions regarding the production of your content, please contact him. If you have questions regarding the content itself, please contact one of the Papers chairs.
The IEEE COPYRIGHT FORM (Postscript). must be signed by one author -- preferably the primary author -- and returned with the camera-ready copy. ACM will not publish any paper that is not accompanied by this signed copyright form.
Make very certain that all elements of your paper which are not of your own creation are free of copyright restriction. If you wish to use a copyrighted element -- an image, for example -- in your paper, you must obtain appropriate copyright clearance. Copyright clearance documentation must accompany your camera-ready copy.
The deadline for the receipt of your camera-ready copy and a black-and-white photocopy by the Proceedings Production Editor is 15 July 1998. This is a firm deadline; the production schedule for this publication is very tight.
To expedite the efficient delivery of your paper, please utilize the Federal Express service for the delivery of your paper if at all possible. (It is understood that, in certain areas outside the continental US, this is impractical. In these cases, please utilize an appropriate overnight courier service for delivery.) Once the paper has been accepted for delivery by the courier service, please e-mail the courier service and waybill number and expected date of delivery to the Proceedings Production Editor.
