Independent Component Analysis (ICA) is an exploratory data
analysis approach that can interpret the data as a combination of
statistically independent sources. It has been successfully applied in
a variety of fields in signal processing such as the analysis of the functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) data.
