TKQML Agent Development Package
Tcl Adapter for Communicating with the KQML
Language and Environment)
Welcome to the TKQML web page. We are in the process of finishing a major
upgrade, so please pardon the confusion.
TKQML is a KQML application/addition to Tcl/Tk, which allows Tcl based
systems to communicate easily with a powerful agent communication language.
If you would like to learn more about TKQML, you can read about it in the
following. These papers/posters will be presented at the 1997 Tcl/Tk
Workshop in Boston and the 1997 Workshop on Agent Theories and Agent Languages
in Providence, both this July. We hope to see you there!

Many people interested in this package will have a good background in agents,
agent communication languages and so forth. Others will not. Since there is
such a vast amount of literature on a wide variety of subject, we will refer
you to UMBC's
KQML and
Agents pages. There you will find
information about KQML work here and elsewhere, current agents research and
links to many other interesting sites. Those new to KQML should be aware that
there are a small number of other dialects of KQML in circulation.
