Subject: 2008 CSEE Research Review - Friday May 2 Please mark your calendars---the 2008 CSEE Research Review will take place Friday, May 2, again at South Campus. This one-day event celebrates research accomplished this academic year by UMBC undergraduate and graduate students and faculty. It will include six 20-mins faculty talks, three student talks (winners of the BS, MS, and PhD best research awards), and about 20 student posters. There will be a free lunch. I'll be following up with a detailed schedule and more information. This year we will be much stricter about deadlines, so that we can better advertise in advance. Faculty: please let me know if you would like to speak. We seek the best research results of the year, representing diverse areas, with priority to faculty who have not yet spoken. Students: please consider submitting, both for the best research awards and to the poster session. The event is a chance to share your results, see what others are doing, and learn important research skills. All: if you know someone who has done especially good research this year, please encourage them to participate. Hope to see you at this annual community research event which is open to the public.
