- We only have so much bandwidth in the classroom, and with 50+ students, just imagine...
- Many of you know about virtual machines, such as VirtualBox or VMWare. Good!
- It might be good to have both VirtualBox and VMWare Player installed (why?)
- Isn't a good anti-virus (AV) system sufficient? Helpful, yes, but probably not sufficient!
- Microsoft supplied Windows Defender, with Windows 7, which is good enough for many people.
- When would you turn that off?
- More and more malware is platform independent, by being web based, for example.
- Several good AV programs seem to be available for free,
such as AVG Antivirus Free.
- What should somebody do if they think your own PC is
infected?
