Homework 3 has been posted. It is due by 11:59 PM EST on Tuesday, December 11th. This homework is optional — if you choose not to complete it, you are exempt from the assignment (your homework grade will only include homeworks 1 and 2). In addition, the late policy discussed in-class on Thursday, December 6th applies to this assignment.

Homework 2 has been posted. It is due by 11:59 PM EST on Tuesday, December 11th. The course late policy does not apply to this assignment — you must turn in the assignment on time to receive credit. This assignment is only for Section 01 of the course — the other sections will have separate assignments for Homework 2.

As discussed in class on Tuesday, Exam 2 will be held in-class on Thursday, November 15th. Exam 2 will cover chapters 6, 7, 10, 11, and 12, as well as the two videos since Exam 1.

As a reminder, Exam 1 will be held on October 9th in class. Per the syllabus, please remember to bring your UMBC ID with you to the exam. Calculators will be allowed on the exam, however they should not be needed (subject to erasing the memory on any calculators with internal program storage or any similar features).
