following:
The Computer Science & Electrical Engineering Department is conducting a study of skills aptitudes and their correlation to CS course levels. We are asking students in the beginning CS classes to take a short skills assessment that is provided on Blackboard (in Course Documents) for this course. If you complete the assessment, you will be given 5 points of extra credit on your first exam. To receive the extra credit you must complete the assessment before 11:59 PM, 2/18/09. - 02/04--
For those who have Macs: To open
a terminal, you go to Applications -> Utilities ->
Terminal. Then type the following command:
ssh gl.umbc.edu -l username
where username is your myUMBC username. The -l is the letter l, not the number 1. It will ask you for your password and then once you are logged in you will be in the same place you were when you logged in through TeraTerm on Thursday. - 02/03 -- I think everyone should now have permission to add the class. Please check myUMBC to see if you have permission and then add the class. If you are changing sections, please make sure to drop one and add the other. If there is anyone who still does not have permission, please email me.
- 02/03 -- My office hour from 11-12 today is cancelled. I will hold the later hour from 2:30-3:30.
- 01/27 -- I will not make any decisions regarding the closed section requests until after next class.
