CMSC 104 Fall 1998 Sections 103 and 301

Homework due dates
    Section 103 -- Monday 10/5/98 before class
    Section 301 -- Thursday 10/1/98 before class

1. Use emacs (or another text editor) to compose a file that tells me a little bit about yourself. Tell me your major and why you are taking this course. Make sure you include any previous programming experience or if your job is computer-related, tell me a little bit about what you do.

2. Use Pine to send me an email that cc's yourself and has the file created in part 1 attached. The subject line should say "Homework 2". The body of your email should state your name and social security number.
