CMSC 421, Spring 2006 Principles of Operating Systems |
From now on, all your questions regarding homeworks and projects, must be posted under the appropriate forum on CMSC 421 blackboard discussion groups. Instructions about using the blackboard and usage policy follow. Please go through the instructions and make sure that you read the last two paragraphs regarding appropriateness of your posting.
Login to the blackboard at UMBC (http://blackboard.umbc.edu) using your UMBC GL username and password. CMSC 421 should show up under "my courses". Follow the section specific course link. You should be able to see "discussion board" button on the left hand side of your screen. Once inside the discussion board, you should be able to see different forums for different assignments.
Before posting your question, go through previous postings to see if your question has already been answered. If not, post your question by creating a new thread. Your question should be answered within two working days.
Remember that your posting will be visible to all students in the section, so exercise judgment when posting. For example do not reveal the answer, parts of the answer or your approach to solving an assignment. When in doubt, refer to the academic integrity policy mentioned in your syllabus.
