When turning in the project 3, do the diff against 2.4.18-19.7.x
kernel IF you are using 2.4 kernel. Do not use anything else.(If you used 2.2.23 kenrel, do your diff against that). This is the kernel that came with UMBC Linux CD. If you deleted the sources, you can find them on the UMBC Linux CD in directory RedHat/RPMS/. Filename is kernel-source-2.4.18-19.7.x.i386.rpm.

2003 *Phase 3 Progress
Report* You need to submit a "progress report" for the
phase 3 on April 21. For the students
who submitted a complete design on 4/6, and do not get adverse
feedback from the TAs, this can be a simple paragraph that outlines
the current status of the work. For those students who thought their
design was not perfect or complete at the 4/6 submission, who receive
adverse feedback, or who have made significant design changes, this is
as an opportunity to submit a revised design document. Your design
grade will take into account both the initial submission as well as
the revision on 4/21. However, this assumes that you did submit a
reasonable effort at a design on 4/6. The 4/21 report is to supplement
the 4/6 report, not to serve as a replacement.
