Viewing Postscript on a Browser: Most browsers can be set up to view Postscript files directly. For example, for Netscape running on the GL machines at UMBC, set your helper applications for Postscript Documents to /usr/bin/X11/showps %s The showps window allows you to view the Postscript, save it to a file, and/or print it. You set your helper applications in Netscape by choosing Edit Preferences Navigator Applications Downloading Postscript on a Browser: On Netscape, you can download a file by clicking on its link with Shift-middle (hold down shift key while clicking the middle button on your mouse). On GL machines, you can then view the files using showps. For example, to view the file foo.ps, type /usr/bin/X11/showps foo.ps & You can print the downloaded file on any UCS Postscript printer. For example, to print the file foo.ps, type lpr -P acsps foo.ps
