If you are interested in finding out what its like to work in the computer game industry then you should come to the 4th annual UMBC Digital Entertainment Conference  this Saturday.
This free event is organized by the UMBC Game Developers Club  and will be held from 10:00am to 6:00pm 25 April in Lecture Hall 2. This year's conference will feature speakers from local game studios who will talk about programming, game design and art in game development, including:

Followed by the Linux Installfest on Friday, 2/20 from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, also on Main Street in the Commons. Students and staff are encouraged to bring their laptops and desktops to have a savvy LUG member assist in the installation of Ubuntu or any other Linux distribution.

The .emacs file is publicly available in the directory
To copy the file, 'cd' to your home directory and type
cp /afs/umbc.edu/users/b/o/bogar/pub/.emacs .
Don't forget the dot (.) at the end... it means copy the
file to the current directory.
