pm4wpix -- The inevitable network problems. There was a wireless network available, but it did not have a Domain Name Server, and so no one could connect to any web sites unless they knew the numeric address of the site. It took about 30 minutes to get this resolved. I think conferences would be more productive if such problems were not fixed - people tend to tune out and check their e-mail rather than pay attention to the speakers.
