This pages shows the detailed experiment results of the 50 clips used in the paper. For each clip, we decompress it into individual frames and then represent it using a 256-D feature vector. (Currently, color histogram feature is used, but other feathers like edge, texture, motion could also be used ). The feature vectors for all frames are then be used to build the Delaunay Triangulation(DT). (Before the DT, Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is applied to reduce the dimension). After the DT, we remove the Separating(Long) edges to get the clusters. Since DT captures the proximity relationship among the feature vectors, the resulted cluters show the content similarity. The key frame from each cluter center is extracted and the whole set of frames are used as a summary for the original video. For a detailed discussion, please check our paper.
For each clip, the storyboard from Open Video project and the summary generated using the Delaunay Clustering are presented. The table shows the numerical results including the Compression factor, Overlap factor and Significance factor used in the paper. The total number of Frames, the number of selected Principal Components and their variance are also listed.
