CMSC 691C Multimedia Networking

You are required to write a survey paper on any  topic that has been discussed in class. The survey paper should summarize the research in 5-10 papers on a particular topic. You should also include your own commentary on the significance of the approach and the solutions presented in each paper. You might even include a discussion on future research directions.

Look to the papers (6, 10, 12, 14) for guidance on style, content and format.

Typically survey papers are about 6 pages long. You may include illustrative pictures and tables.

Evaluation criteria:
       relevance to multimedia networking
       title/abstract okay
       provides motivation (problem significance)
       bibliography adequacy (number and quality of references)
       technical depth (too technical, too shallow?)
       technical content
       clarity, structure, style
       spelling, grammar, English
       typos
