I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at University of Maryland Baltimore County. I work under Dr. Marc Olano in the VANGOGH lab.

I am primarily interested in surgical simulation. My dissertation work involves developing a framework for simulating open surgical procedures in virtual environments. I am currently doing research in the fields of framework design, computational geometry, collision detection, finite element methods and haptics. I have taken a comprehensive approach towards solving issues that arise in these areas as they pertain to surgical simulation.
