Professional Services Corporation, Reston, VA, has been retained to
identify Software Engineers (Intelligent Agent Software Development).
Experienced software engineers needed to design, develop, and
implement intelligent agent software agents. In this effort,
processes will be encapsulated using C, C++, JAVA, Rosette and ACL
programming languages, as well as object-oriented design techniques,
to allow for distributed object management, interprocess
communication, and database connectivity. This will conform with
evolving standards from the Object Management Group (OMG) for
distributed object management using the Common Object Request Broker
Architecture (CORBA) standard. The Knowledge Query Manipulation
Language (KQML) and Knowledge Interface Format (KIF) are being
considered as an adjunct to the CORBA baseline.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
* M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science
* Minimum of 5 years experience in software design and
development (C, C++ under UNIX)
* Prefer mix of experience in both traditional and
object-oriented techniques
* Experience with Rosette and ACL programming languages
preferred.
Must successfully pass Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
Salary: Commensurate with experience. Location: Arlington & Herndon,
