The Secure Composition Problem

The composition problem involves describing the security related components and systems . Even when the behavior of a small , isolated component can be described , serious questions still remain regarding the collective security behavior of numerous interacting components . This talk will discuss how to design secure systems using unreliable components (such as COTS) by composing security policies and component properties .
