In the summer of 2003, Marie desJardins, Jane Gethmann, Tom Armstrong, Joe Catalano, and Kirk Nuss set forth to replace the myriad of inconsistency that was once considered to be the official website of the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, with a new website. The goal was to improve not only the appearance of the site, but also to update the content in a manner that would make it easy to locate important information, regardless off your relationship to the department.

Inevitably, the group of people responsible for maintaining this site will change, but the goal should always be clear, up-to-date content as well as a consistent design.
